Tmann’s Scoreboard / Drink Holder Combo Instructions. This PVC Score Tower includes a pair of drink holders. A very nice score keeper.

Materials

  • 1 – 10’ ¾” PVC
  • 3 – T’s ¾”
  • 2 – Elbows ¾”
  • 5 – Caps ¾”
  • Play sand
  • Spray Paint
  • 2 – cup holders
  • 1 – package of #8-32×1 ½’ machine
  • screws w/nuts

Cut PVC into

  • 1 – 44 ½” UP RIGHT
  • 4 – 8 ½” LEGS
  • 2 – 3” CROSS
  • 2 – 1 ½” CONNECTORS

Assemble

  • 4 – 8 ½” pcs LEGS into ends of 2 T’s
  • Put 2- 1 ½”pcs CONNECTERS into tops of those T’s
  • Put elbows onto the 1 ½” pcs
  • Put 3” pcs CROSS into elbows
  • Connect to the last T
  • Now cap all 4 ends and fill with sand
  • Assemble 44 ½” UPRIGHT and fill w/sand.
  • Put cap on
  • Paint
  • Attach cup holders and or score board

Making Score Boards

Materials:

  • ¼” luan plywood
  • Primer & Paint
  • Paint Markers
  • Cloths pins
  • Sandpaper
  • Clear coat (optional)

 

Assemble

  • Cut luan into 22” long x 5 ¾”wide
  • At the bottom of the boards, measure 1” in on both sides, make a mark.  Draw lines from the top edges to those bottom marks. (now free hand cut on table saw)
  • Sand & prime both sides
  • Paint (both sides)
  • With a pencil measure out 1” lines from top to bottom (both sides), connect horizontal lines Now measure from top left corner in 1 7/8”, 2 7/8”, 3 7/8” draw these vertical lines down 12” Then from both bottom edges measure in 1 3/8” make marks, draw vertical lines 10” up
  • Now trace all lines with a paint marker & write in your numbers
  • Then clear coat (optional, protects boards from moisture, dew, rain etc)
